Sources close to the project told Pinkvilla that the film will feature Salman Khan in a never-before-seen role as a warrior in a period drama.
“Atlee has been working on a mega-budget reincarnation drama for the last one year, which is set in two distinct eras – past and present. The filmmaker is looking to have a strong, never-seen-before period set up with breathtaking visuals of a fictional world. It’s going to be Salman Khan presented like never before in the avatar of a warrior in the period era, whereas the present era dynamics have been kept under wraps for now,” said a source.
The film will intertwine both timelines, with the characters’ fates connected across both eras.
Kamal Haasan Or Rajinikanth – Who’ll Be Atlee’s Another Lead?
In terms of casting, the film is making headlines for its bold choices. Atlee is reportedly in talks with either Kamal Haasan or Rajinikanth to join the project in a parallel lead role alongside Salman Khan, making it one of the most anticipated casting announcements of recent years.
