The Great Grand Superhero: Advance Booking Opens For Jackie Shroff’s Sci-Fi Family Entertainer Ahead Of Tomorrow’S Release

The countdown has officially moved into its most exciting phase for Jackie Shroff fans. With just a day left for The Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman to arrive in cinemas, advance booking for the sci-fi family entertainer has now opened, setting the stage for a cheerful big-screen outing aimed at children, families, and viewers who like their fantasy stories with warmth.

The film releases in Indian theatres on May 29, 2026, and its final pre-release push has leaned into the nostalgia of Jackie Shroff’s screen presence while packaging him in a playful superhero space. At a time when Hindi cinema is actively looking for family-friendly theatrical experiences, this one arrives with a grandfather-grandson story wrapped in aliens, adventure, comedy, and emotion.

Advance Booking Is Now Live

Advance booking for The Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman is open across participating cinemas ahead of its release tomorrow. The film’s campaign has positioned Jackie Shroff as the emotional and comic centre of a fantasy adventure where a young boy believes his grandfather is no ordinary man, but a superhero capable of taking on alien threats.

Ahead of release, Jackie also addressed the pressure around box office expectations in his typically candid style. Speaking during a pre-release interaction, he said, “Fir toh baba wo formula 44 toh kisi ke haath mein nahi hai.” The line captures the veteran actor’s relaxed approach to results, even as the film heads into theatres with a clear family audience pitch.

What The Great Grand Superhero Brings To Cinemas

The Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman has been written and directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Manish Saini. The film stars Jackie Shroff alongside Shivansh Chorge, Prateik Smita Patil, Bhagyashree Dasani, Sharat Saxena, Durgesh Kumar, Saharsh Kumar Shukla, Mihir Godbole, and Kumaar Saurabh.

The 2026 Hindi sci-fi adventure comedy follows a child who sees his grandfather as a superhero, while the grandfather himself carries very human fears and limitations. The premise blends alien danger with a family bond, using fantasy as a way to tell a story about belief, courage, and affection across generations.

Jackie Shroff’s Recent And Upcoming Work

Jackie Shroff has remained one of the busiest senior actors across Hindi and regional cinema, moving comfortably between cameos, character parts, and larger ensemble projects. In the past few years, he appeared in the Tamil blockbuster Jailer in 2023, followed by Quotation Gang Part 1 in 2024 and Good Bad Ugly in 2025. His Telugu cameo in They Call Him OG also added to his multilingual screen presence.

After The Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman, Jackie is confirmed to be part of Siddharth Anand’s King, the Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan led action thriller produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
