The Odyssey has grossed Rs 2 crore in India advance sales so far, with more than 20,000 tickets sold from the limited inventory currently open. Most IMAX cinemas have only a couple of shows available for booking at this stage, yet prime seats across key locations have already been snapped up.
The early momentum puts the film on course for a massive opening in India if the trend continues as more screens and formats are added closer to release.
