While fans were eagerly waiting to see superstar Rajinikanth on the big screen once again with Annaatthe. This big announcement made them excited for 2021, the film which is touted to be a family action drama will now hit the screens on 14th January 2021.
Annaatthe went on the floor last year at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The makers of the film took there twitter handle to announce that the Rajinikanth starrer will be releasing on Pongal next year.
As soon as the announcement was made the news went viral and Twitter users started trending their favorite star’s film.
While the film was expected to release in Diwali 2020 but nothing went as planned because of the lockdown and coronavirus pandemic.
The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena, Khushbu, and Prakash Raj. Directed by Siruthai Siva whose blockbuster Thala Ajith also released in Pongal in 2019.
