Aditya Chopra’s mastery of filmmaking, and his relationship with SRK is a pure visual pleasure.

The person who taught how love is portrayed in Hindi films is the one and only ‘Yash Chopra’. Recently released docuseries, ‘The Romantics’ is a tribute to the late director’s almost 50-year legacy and that of his son Aditya Chopra, who is currently the chairman of ‘Yash Raj Films’. Yash Chopra contributed his own special vision to the Hindi film Industry, particularly when it came to the theme of love.

In 1971, Yash Chopra launched Yash Raj Films, which at the time consisted solely of a small room. This was after he wed Pamela. His thoughts were influenced by Pamela, a music expert, and she was a crucial component of his creative process.

The legend Yash Chopra produced movies and developed fictional characters that the audience connected with and that accurately reflected the nation’s socio-political situations. His films were a massive success because he played a significant role in the majority of the creative processes, including the outfits worn by the heroines.

Aditya Chopra, Chopra’s son, not only continued his father’s heritage but also outdid it in terms of achievements. Aditya Chopra, who is renowned for being a very private person, chose to participate in an interview to share details about the creative process that contributed to his enormous success.

Directed by the Oscar nominated producer, Smriti Mundhra, The four-part docuseries stars Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and others. There isn’t a single dull moment in any of the docu series’ four episodes. The interview with Aditya Chopra, the director of blockbuster hit movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), Mohabbatein, and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, is actually the biggest surprise in the documentary series. Everyone is aware of his calm and a bit reclusive nature and the fact that he avoids public appearances and media interviews. Therefore, witnessing him share the YRF tradition, his mastery of filmmaking, and his relationship with SRK is a pure visual pleasure.

The glimpse of nostalgic movies will bring back memories for those who grew up watching such movies as it charts the development of Yash Raj Films. It marks the true knowledge about Hindi cinema. All four episodes of the series are quite entertaining and eye opening. To keep viewers’ interest throughout its run, the music, the pictures, and the footage are engaged beautifully.

The docuseries offers a thorough perspective as it shows interesting interviews with designers, screenwriters, producers, directors, and other cinema professionals. In addition, the interviews seem to be open and honest.
