‘This’ is what Kangana Ranaut is doing to get into the skin of character Indira Gandhi for her upcoming film ‘Emergency’

Kangana took to her Instagram stories and posted some pictures to share a sneak peek of her preparations.

After portraying former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the upcoming biopic Thalaivi, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up to play another powerful woman politician, former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. She previously indicated that the film would not be a straight biopic, but would instead focus on pivotal episodes in Indian political history.

As the pre-production work for the film has begun, Kangana took to her Instagram stories and post to share a sneak peek of her preparations. In order to get inside the skin of Indira Gandhi, the actor revealed that she scanned her body for the film ‘Emergency.’

Kangana Ranaut surprises fans with a work video from her Manikarnika Films production house. Kangana gets her hand scanned in one video, while she shows a glimpse of the ‘body scan’ process in another video, which she captioned, “Body scan for film Emergency, time to get into Madam Prime Minister Indira Gandhi ji’s skin”

She also shared some pictures and wrote in the caption, “Every character is a beautiful beginning of a new journey, today we started journey of #Emergency #Indira with body, face scans and casts to get the look right. Many amazing artists get together to bring one’s vision alive on screen…. This one will be very special @manikarnikafilms.”
