Salman Khan fans are known for their over-the-top celebrations, and this time was no different. As Sikandar hit theatres recently, a group of fans in Malegaon set off firecrackers inside a cinema hall.

This isn’t the first time Salman’s fans have done something extreme to show their love. During Tiger 3 in 2023, a similar incident took place in Malegaon’s Mohan Cinema Hall. Police had taken action against those responsible, booking them under sections 112 and 117 of the Maharashtra Police Act.
Salman himself had addressed the issue back then, urging fans to celebrate responsibly. He had warned them that lighting fireworks inside a theatre is dangerous and puts lives at risk. However, it looks like some fans didn’t take his advice seriously.
While promoting Sikandar, Salman spoke about controversies and fan expectations. When asked if controversies have become a trend with every film release, he made it clear that he wants none of it.
He said he has already dealt with many controversies in the past and does not want any drama around Sikandar. He also added that controversies don’t guarantee a film’s success. Instead, they often cause delays, affecting the film’s box office run.
Sikandar Running At Box Office Amid Mixed Reviews
Sikandar was released on Eid and received mixed reactions from audiences and critics. Despite this, the film had a strong opening at the box office. According to the makers, Sikandar collected Rs 54.72 crore worldwide on its first day.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film stars Salman Khan alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sathyaraj. While the film’s action-packed storyline and star power are attracting crowds, some analysts believe piracy might impact its earnings.
