Tiger Shroff is still processing the trauma of the October 18 firing attack in Mumbai’s Juhu area, and Vidyut Jammwal has now offered the clearest glimpse yet into how the actor is coping. Speaking about his conversation with Tiger, Vidyut said the experience has understandably left him shaken, while also explaining why he reacted so strongly after videos of the incident surfaced online.
Vidyut Opens Up On Tiger’s State Of Mind
Vidyut said Tiger is trying to move forward, but the emotional impact of the attack remains intense. He shared, “He is happy, stressed for sure. I was also telling him that not many people have had the experience of someone shooting at their faces. This happens in the army. So, it cannot be a normal experience. Nobody can fathom that experience, nobody can say that this is how you should be. He is stressed, and he has every reason to be. I told Tiger that he has to be stressed because there has been an attempt to murder him, so it cannot be a normal experience. So, he is good and trying his best to get out of this.”
The comment adds emotional weight to an episode that had already sparked intense public attention, especially after footage from the scene began circulating widely and prompted questions about how people around Tiger responded in the moment.
Why Vidyut Posted That Video
Vidyut also addressed the outrage that followed his earlier video on the incident. His anger, he explained, came from hearing how isolated Tiger felt in that moment, especially when so many bystanders were filming instead of stepping in to help.
He said, “We were chatting and when he told me that whole experience that he experienced, isolating himself from everybody around. It ticked me off. My first thought was, this is the problem with our country. That nobody does anything. Now, you will have a reason that he had a gun…my thought was somebody should run, where will our heroes come out from? I told Tiger that his driver should have crushed him, some rickshaw guy should have come out. I was not expecting everyone to run away. One hero. My question was, why did nobody run? There were 100 cameras. Everybody had a video, but there was no attempt to do anything. That ticked me off and that was the reason I posted the video.”
The Lingering Impact Of The Incident
Tiger has not spoken publicly in detail about the attack, which makes Vidyut’s remarks all the more striking. Rather than turning the moment into a generic show of solidarity, Vidyut framed it as a deeply human response to trauma, insisting that stress in the aftermath of such an incident is not weakness but a natural reaction. For an actor whose public image has long been built around discipline, athleticism, and action-heavy performances in films like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and the Baaghi franchise, that note of vulnerability gives this update unusual weight.
What lingers most in Vidyut’s account is not just the fear of the attack itself, but the sense that Tiger was left alone in a moment of danger while cameras kept rolling. That is the part Vidyut clearly has not moved past, and it is what gives his comments their force now.
