In a major new development, he is set to collaborate with a powerhouse team that includes the acclaimed director of a cult Kannada hit, the producer behind some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters, and the celebrated writer of Jawan. This new film signals a bold new chapter in his career.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, the yet-untitled film is a high-concept action thriller. The project is already in pre-production and is slated to begin its 45-day shooting schedule in October 2025, aiming for a theatrical release in 2026.

While Tiger Shroff has built a formidable brand with blockbuster hits like the Baaghi franchise and War, his last major releases, Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, underperformed at the box office. This new announcement is being seen by industry watchers as a calculated pivot. By stepping into a “high-concept” space with a fresh team, Shroff seems determined to redefine his action-hero persona and explore new cinematic territory.
A source quoted in the report highlighted Shroff’s enthusiasm, stating he was “bowled over by the vision for telling this intriguing story and went ahead to allot dates to the film on priority.” This move comes as fans await his return to familiar ground with Baaghi 4, which is set to hit screens in just over a month on September 5, 2025.

What makes this project particularly exciting is the formidable crew assembled behind the camera. At the helm is director Sachin Ravi, making his Hindi film debut. Ravi is the creative force behind the 2019 Kannada hit Avane Srimannaryana, a film celebrated for its unique visual style and quirky narrative. Backing this vision is producer Murad Khetani of Cine1 Studios, a man with the Midas touch for producing massive box office hits. With a track record that includes modern blockbusters like Animal, Kabir Singh, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Khetani’s involvement provides immense commercial credibility.
Adding another layer of firepower is dialogue writer Sumit Arora. Fresh off the historic success of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, Arora is known for his ability to write punchy, mass-appealing lines that resonate across the country, ensuring the film’s unique concept is accessible to a wide audience.
