Tiger Shroff is finally stepping back into the kind of big-screen action space that made him one of Bollywood’s most bankable physical performers. After months of stop-start movement behind the scenes, his untitled film with producer Murad Khetani and director Sachin Ravi has now locked April 10 as its shoot date, giving the long-delayed project its clearest sign of momentum yet.
The film was earlier scheduled to begin production in October 2025, but the launch was pushed repeatedly. With the new date now in place, the project is set to begin filming in Mumbai as a stylised action entertainer mounted on a large scale. For Tiger, it marks another return to a genre that remains central to his screen identity.
Inside The April 10 Production Kickoff
The delays came from scheduling conflicts, and the extra time went into sharpening the film’s action design before the team moved into production. Pre-production has been completed, and the makers have finalised the major stunt blocks along with international action talent for the shoot.
The first schedule will be filmed on specially built sets in Goregaon and Malad, underlining the scale planned for the film. Sachin Ravi, who directed the 2019 Kannada fantasy adventure Avane Srimannarayana, now teams up with Tiger for a Hindi action vehicle that places visual style and choreographed spectacle at the centre of the storytelling. While the title and supporting cast have not yet been unveiled, the April 10 start firmly puts the project back on track after multiple postponements.
That restart is particularly significant because it arrives at a time when Tiger is balancing franchise visibility with the need for a strong standalone theatrical vehicle. This new film fits squarely into that moment in his career.
Tiger Shroff’s Recent And Upcoming Work
Tiger was last seen in Singham Again in 2024, where he played ACP Satya in Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer cop drama led by Ajay Devgn. Earlier in 2024, he also starred in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Ali Abbas Zafar’s action entertainer co-starring Akshay Kumar and Prithviraj Sukumaran. In 2023, he headlined Ganapath, the dystopian action film that featured Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan.
His upcoming slate keeps him firmly in the commercial mainstream. Tiger is attached to Baaghi 4, extending one of the most recognisable action franchises of his career. He is also filming Lag Jaa Gale, a romantic drama directed by Raj Mehta and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya. Together, those projects show a star continuing to rely on action as his strongest theatrical currency, while also widening his space with a more relationship-driven film.
With the Murad Khetani production finally ready to roll, Tiger now has a fresh action title moving from planning to execution, and for an actor whose appeal is built on momentum, that shift matters.
