Tiger Shroff’s Big Budget Spiritual Action Film With Ram Madhvani Titled Vajra

Tiger Shroff rang in his birthday on March 2 with a headline-making update for fans, his ambitious new collaboration with filmmaker Ram Madhvani has a title. The grand-scale spiritual action film, backed by producer Mahaveer Jain, is titled Vajra, and the makers believe the name taps directly into the film’s cultural and thematic core.

With Madhvani stepping into a space far removed from his grounded, real-world thrillers and Tiger leaning into a concept that promises both emotion and scale, Vajra is shaping up to be one of the actor’s most distinctive pivots in recent years.

Vajra Title Revealed, And The Makers Want It Rooted In Indian Culture

A source close to the project confirmed the title and the thinking behind it, saying, “The film is named Vajra. The makers as well as Tiger feel that the title is apt for the storyline and also because it’s connected with our rich Indian culture.”

The same source also teased a significant reinvention for Tiger in the film, adding, “In Vajra, Tiger Shroff will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. It’s a role that unleashes both power and emotion. He is extremely excited about Vajra and it’s concept and is working very hard. He’s determined to give the audiences an experience that they’ll cherish. Ram Madhvvani and Mahaveer Jain are also going all out to mount their spiritual big budget action film on a grand scale.”

The project was earlier described as a “spiritual action thriller,” with the team positioning it as a genre blend that aims to feel fresh for Indian cinema, while also carrying broader international appeal. As per the information doing the rounds with the announcement, the film is expected to go on floors in the second quarter of 2026, with Japan slated to be a key shooting location.

Tiger and Madhvani’s pairing is especially intriguing because of their contrasting creative identities, Tiger’s kinetic action-star energy meeting Madhvani’s reputation for detail-driven storytelling.

Tiger Shroff’s Recent And Upcoming Work

Over the past few years, Tiger has stayed firmly in the action zone. His releases in the last 48 months include Heropanti 2 (2022), Ganapath (2023), and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024), where he shared the screen with Akshay Kumar. He also appeared in the ensemble cop-universe film Singham Again (2024) in a cameo role.

On the confirmed upcoming front, Vajra is now one of his most talked-about in-development films, with filming timelines pointing to 2026 production. He also has Lag Jaa Gale and Rambo listed as 2026 projects.
