The launch date for Toofaan, the highly awaited inspiring sports drama starring Farhan Akhtar, has been revealed by Amazon Prime Video. Toofaan is set to be the biggest sports drama of the year, directed by RakeyshOmprakash Mehra and produced by Excel Entertainment (RiteshSidhwani and Farhan Akhtar) and ROMP Pictures (RakeyshOmprakash Mehra).
The film will start streaming from 16th July only on Amazon Prime Video. Toofaan stars Farhan Akhtar in the lead role along with Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Kapur, Hussain Dalal, Dr. Mohan Agashe, DarshanKumaar and Vijay Raaz.
Farhan Akhtar and RakeyshOmprakash Mehra return to pack a punch with Toofaan, following their spectacular cooperation in BhaagMilkhaBhaag. This inspirational story follows the life of Ajju, an orphaned youngster from Mumbai’s Dongri neighbourhood who grows up to become a local goon. His life is turned upside down when he meets Ananya, a brilliant and caring young woman whose faith in him inspires him to pursue his dream of becoming a boxing champion.
