Yash, renowned for his role in the successful KGF franchise, has confirmed his participation in two upcoming films: Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, and Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. While filming for Toxic is already underway, Yash is scheduled to commence shooting for Ramayana in July 2024.
Exciting developments have emerged regarding the casting for Toxic. Fresh reports suggest that Geethu Mohandas is in talks with Nayanthara, the renowned South Indian actress often referred to as the “Lady Superstar,” for the role of Yash’s sister in the film.
Nayanthara To Play Yash’s Sister In Toxic?
Sources close to the project told Pinkvilla that Geethu Mohandas and Yash have engaged in multiple discussions with Nayanthara in recent weeks. Negotiations are progressing positively and she has shown keen interest in the role. The discussions are currently focused on logistical arrangements.
Nayanthara ‘s character, described as a strong woman, resonates well with her on-screen persona. She is reportedly impressed with Geethu Mohandas’s portrayal of female characters.
