Yash’s Toxic has hit a sharp slowdown in Hindi after opening with a thunderous first day. The film began its run at 54.50 crore nett on Day 1, but the days that followed told a very different story. By the end of its extended week one, the Hindi version stood at 138 crore nett, with the trend firmly pointing downward rather than toward a second-week rebound.
The drop is hard to miss. After the huge Day 1 launch, Toxic collected 24.50 crore on Day 2 and 19 crore on Day 3, before slipping to 14 crore and 13 crore on Days 4 and 5. The real damage, however, came once the weekdays tightened their grip. Day 6 brought in 4.75 crore, Day 7 added 4.50 crore, Day 8 fell to 2.50 crore, and Day 9 closed at just 1.75 crore. That takes the Hindi total to 138 crore nett.
The Extended Week One Trend Turns Worrying
What makes this run notable is not the total alone, but the pace of the fall. A 54.50 crore opening usually creates room for a strong first extended week, or at the very least for a steadier hold through the weekdays. Toxic did neither in Hindi. The film lost momentum quickly, and once it slipped below the 5 crore mark on Day 6, the decline became far more severe.

The story unfolds in a gritty underworld setting, with Yash positioned at the centre of an ambitious action-heavy narrative. The film arrived as one of the biggest releases of Yash’s post-KGF: Chapter 2 phase, which is why its Hindi theatrical trend is being watched so closely.
