In a very dramatic turn of events, official handle of producer T Series posted that the trailer of Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar starrer The Lady Killer will be out tomorrow and film will be releasing in 6 days time on 3rd November!
Couple of months back, there were also rumours around the film running into financial troubles due to which shoot was halted. Though those rumours were quashed later by makers. Now this sudden release plans have raised new questions. Interestingly actors have not shared the update on their social media handles in last three hours since this update came out!
About The Lady Killer
The Lady Killer marks the first collaboration between Arjun and Bhumi. It is directed by Ajay Bahl and produced by Shailesh Singh. The tight thriller is a murder mystery and is planned to release sometime next year. Bhumi had two releases this year, Anubhav Sinha’s Bheed (which chronicled the plight of people during the 2020 lockdown) and Sudhir Mishra’s Afwaah. The latter tackled the issue of fake news and misinformation. Despite great reviews, both films failed to perform well at the box office.
Arjun And Bhumi’s Upcoming Projects
Arjun was last seen in Aasmaan Bhardwaj’s Kuttey. The ensemble thriller failed to perform well both critically and commercially. Both Arjun and Bhumi will be teaming up again for Meri Patni Ka Remake, which is a comedy film directed by Mudassar Aziz. The filming kickstarted last year in September in the United Kingdom. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani under his banner Pooja Entertainment and marks Bhumi’s second collaboration with Mudassar after the 2019 Pati Patni Aur Woh.
