As Arshad Warsi’s remarks about Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD continue to generate buzz, an old video featuring Allu Arjun has resurfaced and gone viral.
In this clip, Allu Arjun, quoting SS Rajamouli, compares Prabhas to Hrithik Roshan, stating that Prabhas surpasses Roshan. This has sparked a fresh wave of debate online.
Allu Arjun Says Hrithik Roshan Is Nothing In Front Of Prabhas
In the video, Allu Arjun enthusiastically declares, “He (Prabhas) goes great fights and is number one in all. As SS Rajamouli said, ‘Hrithik Roshan is nothing in front of Prabhas’.”
The camera then cuts to Prabhas, who is seen grinning at the praise. The clip has since gained traction on Reddit, where users have been debating its implications.

Many Redditors have taken to the comments to share their views. One user noted, “I think he is using Hrithik as some kind of bar. It looks bad in today’s context but it’s a very common Indian way to butter up someone.” Another remarked, “They are just trying to hype Prabhas using Hrithik as a bar in a jovial way. I don’t see any malice there. The only thing this proves is that Hrithik will remain a benchmark for everyone from North to South. It’s actually a big compliment.”
Some comments offered further insight. One user pointed out, “It’s more like Hrithik is the benchmark and it’s an indirect compliment to him.”
Another added, “Hrithik is a superstar and they all know it. They were promoting Prabhas, which is why they say that. It’s like watching a great stunt of Akshay Kumar and then jokingly saying Jackie Chan ain’t got nothing on Akshay Kumar.”
Another person commented, “It’s more flattering, to be honest. Hrithik Roshan is the standard to beat. That’s the context for most of these comments. To say someone looks like HR or better than HR is a way of giving a compliment.”
About Arshad Warsi-Prabhas Controversy
Arshad Warsi recently sparked controversy by calling Prabhas’ look in Kalki 2898 AD ‘joker-like’. During an interview, Warsi expressed his disappointment with Prabhas’ portrayal, despite praising Amitabh Bachchan’s performance in the film. Warsi suggested that Prabhas’ appearance should have been more akin to Mel Gibson’s look.
Talking about Allu Arjun, the actor remains a major star in Indian cinema. Following the success of his film Pushpa: The Rise, excitement is building for the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is set to hit screens on December 6. The sequel, featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, is anticipated to be another major hit.
