The highly anticipated Malayalam film Turbo has been generating significant excitement ever since its announcement.
This buzz is fuelled not only by the presence of Malayalam superstar Mammootty in his first full-fledged mass entertainer since Bheeshma Parvam (2022) but also by its star-studded cast and crew.
Now, the trailer for Turbo has been released, promising audiences a high-octane action comedy with Mammootty at the forefront.
What’s In Mammootty’s Turbo Trailer?
The 133-second trailer will introduce you to Jose (Mammootty), called ‘Turbo Jose’ for his impressive action skills. It showcases glimpses of intense fight scenes involving Jose, but his dominance is challenged when he faces off against another powerful man, portrayed by Raj B Shetty. The reason behind their confrontation remains a mystery to Jose.
However, Turbo is not solely focused on action; the trailer also hints at plenty of humour, ensuring a well-rounded cinematic experience.

Directed by Vysakh, known for Pulimurugan, and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, along with Abraham Ozler, the film is produced by Mammootty under the banner of Mammootty Kampany.
The movie features a diverse ensemble cast, including renowned Kannada actor-director Raj B Shetty and Telugu star Sunil, both making their Malayalam debuts in significant roles. Other notable actors include Anjana Jayaprakash, Kabir Duhan Singh, Siddique, Shabareesh Varma, and Dileesh Pothan.
Turbo’s cinematography is handled by Vishnu Sarma, with editing by Shameer Muhammed, and music composed by Christo Xavier. Distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films in India, Turbo is set to hit screens worldwide on May 23.
