Since its debut on August 2, Ulajh has had a rocky journey at the domestic box office. The spy thriller, directed by Sudhanshu Saria and produced by Junglee Pictures, opened to mixed reviews and a tepid reception. Despite high hopes, the film has struggled to gain traction, with critics pointing to its loosely structured plot and narrative that hasn’t quite resonated with audiences.

Ulajh was never expected to make a massive splash on its release. However, it needed decent word-of-mouth to sustain its run. With the current pace, it seems the film might be written off soon, especially with Independence Day releases coming up.

Day 2 (Sat) Rs 2.22 crore
Day 3 (Sun) Rs 2.42 crore

About The Film

The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as Suhana Bhatia, a young IFS officer with a legacy of patriots in her family. She finds herself caught in a perilous personal conspiracy far from home. Alongside Kapoor, the film features Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, and Adil Hussain.
