After months of intense filming, Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, and Roshan Mathew wrapped up shooting for the upcoming political thriller Ulajh on September 11, 2023. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film will feature Janhvi Kapoor in the role of an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, depicting a journey filled with intrigue and danger as she becomes entangled in a perilous personal conspiracy far from her familiar surroundings.
The buzz surrounding the film’s release date has been palpable in the industry, and now, reports from Pinkvilla reveal that the Ulajh team is eyeing a release date of July 5, 2024.

Sources close to Junglee Pictures, the production house behind the project, have hinted at the imminent announcement of this much-anticipated date as the post-production work approaches its final stages. The team is enthusiastic about introducing a fresh genre to the Indian audience, promising a cinematic experience unlike any other.
In addition to Ulajh, Janhvi Kapoor is set to grace the silver screen once more in the next three months with Mr & Mrs Maahi, directed by Sharan Sharma. While the release date for this film is yet to be disclosed, insiders assure fans that an announcement is imminent.
Alongside Kapoor, Ulajh boasts a stellar cast including Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Adil Hussain, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi, each playing pivotal roles in this much-anticipated thriller.
