The hit crime thriller Vadh (2022) is getting a sequel! Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg’s Luv Films have officially announced Vadh 2, bringing back Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta. Directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, the sequel promises an even more gripping storyline.
Vadh 2 Team’s Spiritual Start At Mahakumbh
The team began their journey with a special visit to Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta, director Jaspal Singh Sandhu, and producer Ankur Garg took part in a sacred ritual at the Sangam Ghat. They also visited the Akshay Vat Temple to pray for the film’s success.
Sanjay Mishra is working with the UP Police as ‘Cyber Baba’ to raise awareness about cyber fraud during the Kumbh. He led the team during this spiritual moment. Sharing photos from the visit, Luv Films wrote, “Thrilled to embark on our journey with #Vadh2 as we seek divine blessings at Mahakumbh – in the heart of Prayagraj!”

Neena Gupta On Visiting Kumbh Mela For The First Time
Speaking to ANI, Neena Gupta shared her excitement about visiting Mahakumbh for the first time.
“I have been wanting to come here for years… It was a unique experience… Finally, I took a dip today,” she said.
She described the gathering as “crazy” and said she had “never seen anything like it.” She also praised the government’s efforts in organising such a massive event.
Vadh 2 Filming Is Currently Underway
The title Vadh carries deep meaning. In Hindu mythology, it represents the righteous defeat of evil rather than just an act of killing. The first film explored this theme, and the sequel is expected to build on it with another powerful narrative.
Production for Vadh 2 is already underway, with major shoots planned in Bhopal, Mumbai, and Manali.
