With the rise of digital platforms, a number of famous Bollywood stars are dabbling in the digital realm. Varun Dhawan, a Bollywood actor, is the latest among the younger generation of artists to sign up for Amazon Prime Video to make his digital debut. According to reports, the actor will star in Anthony and Joe Russo’s upcoming American drama series Citadel. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also appears in the series.

Citadel is an action-adventure spy series with a mothership and local language satellite series. The main series will be filmed in the United Kingdom and will star Priyanka Chorpa and Richard Madden.

Varun Dhawan is set to star in a local Indian spin-off helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, according to reports. In January 2022, the main series will be available on Amazon Prime Video. Citadel will be produced locally in India, Mexico, and Italy, according to reports. There will be crossovers with the main series and cross-references between the many local series, despite the fact that the satellite series will be set independently.

The cast for Citadel’s Indian part is likely to be announced soon, and filming will begin next year.
