Varun Dhawan has given his fans a glimpse of his summertime as he took to social media on Monday afternoon to share a picture of himself relaxing in a pool. The actor, who is currently busy shooting for Citadel with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, can be seen donning red shorts and pink pool glasses while showing off his biceps. Along with the picture, Varun wrote, “Summertime.”
However, what caught everyone’s attention was the hilarious comment left by his Bawaal co-star Janhvi Kapoor. The actress, who shares a love-hate equation with Varun, commented, “I think those goggles might be a bitttt too small for u.” The banter between the two stars had their fans in splits, and even Varun replied to Janhvi, saying, “@janhvikapoor stole them from a child.”
Varun and Janhvi’s upcoming film Bawaal, helmed by National Award winner Nitesh Tiwari, is one of the most-awaited films of the year. The duo has teamed up for the first time, and their fans can’t wait to see them on the big screen. The film, which was earlier slated to release in April, has been postponed to 6th October 2023, as revealed by Varun in a recent tweet.
Apart from Bawaal, Varun has another project in the pipeline – Citadel, in collaboration with Raj & DK for the first time. Janhvi, on the other hand, is currently shooting for Mr and Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao.
