Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment is facing challenges with recent setbacks in its movie releases. Despite previous successes, the production company is grappling with issues such as crew members alleging non-payment and financial pressures.
According to recent reports, veteran producer Vashu Bhagnani has denied selling their Mumbai office amid financial pressures.

Talking to ETimes, Bhagnani clarified, “The building (office space) that people are talking about hasn’t been sold to anyone, it belongs to me even now.” He revealed plans for redevelopment into luxury homes, pending the release of their film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
Addressing allegations of mass layoffs, Bhagnani refuted claims, asserting that their core team, loyal for over a decade, remains intact. Despite setbacks like the underperformance of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Bhagnani affirmed their resilience, disclosing plans for an upcoming animation series pitched on a large scale.
Filmmaker Addresses Allegations Of Non-Payment Of Dues
Regarding crew members’ grievances over non-payment, Bhagnani encouraged affected parties to approach them directly with proper documentation. He stressed, “Nobody is running away. Please come to my office, talk to us, give us your documents and give us 60 days to figure things out. I am not going to buckle under any pressure or blackmail.”
Earlier reports suggested financial woes, claiming Pooja Entertainment’s office sale to settle a Rs 250 crore debt and the dismissal of 80% of their staff.
These reports surfaced amidst criticism from a crew member alleging exploitation of their passion for filmmaking and urging caution in working with Pooja Entertainment.
