Venom: The Last Dance Box Office Day 3 (India): Tom Hardy Starrer Scores The Best Opening In The Trilogy Followed By Decent Growth Over The Weekend

After Joker 2, it’s time for Venom: The Last Dance to pass the box office test in India. The third and final trilogy of Tom Hardy starrer has opened to mixed reviews. It witnessed a better opening than its predecessor but was not good enough to make a strong debut.

Directed by Kelly Marcel, Venom 3 was released in theatres on October 24, 2024. There remained decent hype around the film after the much-talked-about Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Unfortunately, the 2021 sequel was a flop at the Indian box office. Fans were hoping for good content and a moment of redemption, but it is going to be a difficult feat.

Venom 3 Box Office Collection India:

Venom: The Last Dance has earned 5.50 crores at the box office in India. Despite a normal working day, the Tom Hardy starrer managed to make a decent debut.

Interestingly, Venom 3 opened better than Joaquin Phoenix, and Lady Gaga led Joker 2, which earned 5.10 crores on day 1 at the Indian box office. Tom Hardy’s film has also left behind its predecessors. Take a look at the opening day figures of the trilogy below:

  1. Venom (2018): 4.09 crores
  2. Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021): 3.71 crores
  3. Venom: The Last Dance (2024): 5.50 crores

Film grew over the weekend and collected 8 crore net on day two. Film grew further and touched double digit on Saturday. Zero competition and franchise value gave film much needed push at box office.

India:

Day 1: 5.50 crore

Day 2: 8 crore

Day 3: 10 crore

Total: 23.50 crore net

Film will cross 34 – 35 crore net over the 4 day weekend in India.
