This week on 23rd February two Bollywood movies clashed at the box office. Yami Gautam starrer Article 370 and Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal starrer Crakk locked horns at the box office.
Vidyut Jamwal’s massive budgeted action film Crakk released last weekend. Film didn’t do well post day one and scored miserably over weekend at box office.
Vidyut Jammwal Accuses Sumit Kadel For Asking The Bribe For Favourable Reporting For Crakk
Vidyut Jammwal, the actor known for his high-octane stunts and martial arts skills, has slammed a trade critic for allegedly demanding bribe from him. The actor took to Twitter
Jammwal, who has starred in films like Commando, Force, and Khuda Haafiz, did not mince words and called out Kadel for his unethical and criminal behaviour. He wrote, “Asking for bribe is a crime ,and giving one is a crime too!!”My crime “is not giving??? #sumitkadel…so everytime you praise someone -we know the criminal..”

Kadel, who has over 200k followers on Twitter, has not responded to Jammwal’s allegations yet. However, many of Jammwal’s fans and industry colleagues have come out in support of him and praised him for exposing the corruption in the film trade.
Trade Expert Responds With Cryptic Post
“When popularity turns into arrogance, it’s a downfall.
Despite nepotism tags, ‘khaandaani’ stars often exhibit humility. Today, encountered an so called outsider whose rudeness was appalling.
Understandably, top industry figures avoid working with him.”
He further added, “Folks i need to clarify this is not for any superstar or current generation stars.. this post is for someone else who is not a star but think himself as a Bruce Lee | Jacky chan.. I have met almost every lead actor in the industry and sab bade pyaare hai.. sirf yahi ek pagal hai hai jissey meir mulakaat hui.. Industry k log samaj jayenge, aap logo se request hai plz dont demean anyone under the comment section.”

Jammwal, who is known for his fitness and dedication to his craft, has often spoken about the challenges and discrimination he faced in the film industry. He has also been vocal about the lack of recognition and opportunities for action heroes in Bollywood.
Crakk Struggled Over Weekend
Yesterday cinema lovers day gave push to new release as films were available on ₹ 99 only. New releases to holdover releases scored bigger number than normal. Vidyut Jammwal had 4.11 crore nett day one number but reality hit the film today on day two.
Film dropped by 55% on day two and collected 2.15 crore nett. Film grew marginally by 10% on day three and collected 2.50 crore nett.
Film has total of 8.76 crore nett and film failed to touch double digit number. There is no improvement in Vidyut Jamwal’s box office standings for a decade and this big budget extravaganza is set to tank with under 22-25 crore nett lifetime at its best.
