Vikrant was recently seen at Dehradun, dressed in a black puffer jacket. He is currently shooting for his upcoming musical love story, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. Alongside him is Shanaya Kapoor, who was seen wearing a casual sweater and denim jeans.

Filming paused briefly when Vikrant met with Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami. A video of their friendly handshake and conversation made its way to social media. He was also honoured by the minister with a bouquet. The actor is gaining praise from political figures for his recent role in The Sabarmati Report.
Vikrant recently shared on Instagram, “It’s been a long road to this point.” His earlier announcement of taking a break after 2025 left fans wondering if he was retiring. However, he later confirmed that he is taking a break and not retiring, adding that his statement was ‘misunderstood’.

The story of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is still a mystery, but reports suggest that it will focus on modern romance and the issue of ghosting. Directed by Santosh Singh, the film explores deep emotional themes like compassion, resilience, independence, and self-belief, all set to a rich musical backdrop.
Shanaya Kapoor plays a theatre artist, while Vikrant takes on the role of a blind musician. Their on-screen chemistry promises to deliver a heartfelt and emotional journey as they navigate love and personal growth.
