According to reports, an unknown person sprayed an unidentified substance in the theatre, making several moviegoers feel unwell. Witnesses said they experienced symptoms like nausea, vomiting, coughing, and general discomfort.
The theatre quickly paused the screening for 10 to 15 minutes, opening the doors for fresh air to circulate before continuing the film.
Fortunately, no serious health issues have been reported, but the situation caused some distress among those affected. The Gaiety-Galaxy theatre, known for its lively crowd, was packed with excited fans eager to watch the film.
Given its wide release and popularity, the audience was large, but many people returned to their seats after the air circulation helped clear the atmosphere.
Mumbai Police Investigates The Incident
Mumbai police arrived promptly after the incident and have launched an investigation. They are reviewing CCTV footage to find the person responsible for spraying the substance. Authorities are treating the matter seriously, as it caused unnecessary panic among the public.
