Ticket Prices Hiked To Rs 600 In Telugu States?
Concerns have been raised about the significant increase in ticket prices, particularly in the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
In response to the high demand for Pushpa 2: The Rule, both state governments have approved a hike, setting the ticket price at Rs 600 per person. This will only apply for the first four days of the release, from December 5 to December 9.
This makes it one of the highest ticket prices ever for a Telugu film. The price hike is part of a special allowance to help the makers take advantage of the film’s massive buzz.
Well, this isn’t the first time ticket prices have been raised for big releases. Films like Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar, and Devara also saw price increases, ranging from Rs 395 to Rs 495. However, the excitement surrounding Pushpa 2 has led to an even higher rate. The film will be released in over 800 theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with multiple daily shows to meet the demand.
