Titled “White”, the movie is directed by Montoo Bassi, an international thriller with a spiritual heartbeat; it’s not a pure biopic, but it takes heavy biographical inspiration from Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s global appeal and the inner peace movement foundational to his teachings.
It is collaboratively produced by Siddharth Anand, a prominent filmmaker with a portfolio of high-quality action spectacles (Pathaan, Fighter); and Mahaveer Jain, a successful producer involved in thoughtful films with social and spiritual messaging (Ram Setu, Chalo Jeete Hain). This pairing suggests we can expect a combination of scale, substance, and story.
The production is slated to begin in July in Colombia and will include a mix of international and Indian cast members.
