Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are gearing up for an intense showdown in the highly anticipated Bollywood movie War 2. The latest update reveals that this Ayan Mukerji directorial will feature a thrilling one-on-one combat scene between the two stars.
In a recent interview with Vikatan, stunt choreographer-turned-director Anl Arasu disclosed his involvement in coordinating the climax fight scene between Hrithik and Jr NTR. Arasu, who previously worked on the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan and is well-known in Tamil cinema, shared his excitement about this project.
Anl Arasu On War 2 Fight Scene
During the interview for his debut directorial Phoenix, starring Vijay Sethupathi’s son Surya, Anl Arasu revealed how he was approached for the crucial fight sequence in War 2. He expressed enthusiasm about choreographing the high-octane action scene between Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, which is expected to be a highlight of the film.
War 2, the sequel to the 2019 film War directed by Siddharth Anand, continues the story of Kabir Dhaliwal, a highly skilled Indian RAW agent who seemingly turns rogue. In the first film, Kabir’s former mentee, Khalid Rahmani, is tasked with bringing him in, leading to a series of thrilling events that reveal Kabir’s true motives.
The sequel aims to expand the narrative, intertwining it with events from other YRF spy franchise films like Pathaan and Tiger 3. Hrithik’s cameo in the post-credit scene of Tiger 3 hinted at the storm brewing in War 2. This film also marks Jr NTR’s debut in a direct Hindi film and in the YRF spy cinematic universe.
Jr NTR’s Upcoming Projects
In addition to his role in War 2, Jr NTR is set to star in Koratala Siva’s Devara: Part 1. This film also features Janhvi Kapoor, making her debut in Telugu cinema.
The cast includes Saif Ali Khan as the main antagonist, alongside Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain, among others. Devara: Part 1 is scheduled to be released on September 27, 2024.
