Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a grand appearance at Dubai’s iconic Global Village on Sunday, December 17, to promote his upcoming comedy-drama film Dunki. The actor entertained his fans in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates with his charm, wit, and dance moves on the main stage of the theme park. This visit came immediately after his visit to Vox cinemas where he interacted with fans.
This is not the first time that Shah Rukh Khan has greeted his fans at Global Village. Back in 2018, he promoted his film Zero at the same venue.

The event, which took place a week before Dunki’s theatrical release on December 21, 2023, saw Shah Rukh Khan personally interacting with the fans, answering their questions, and revealing some interesting facts about the film. He also danced to some of his popular songs, including O Mahi and Lutt Putt Gaya from Dunki, and gave a witty reply to everyone who tried to imitate his talking style.

Dunki is a comedy-drama film that revolves around the theme of illegal immigration. The film gets its name from “donkey flights”, a term used for a risky entry technique used by migrants to enter countries like Canada and the United Kingdom. It is a widely used term in places like Punjab. Dunki is expected to be a blockbuster hit, as it has already shown promising advanced booking in the overseas market.
Dunki will be competing at the box office with Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, an action thriller film directed by Prashanth Neel. Dunki is Shah Rukh Khan’s third movie this year, following Jawan and Pathaan, which were a big success both in India and overseas.
