Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to deliver third mega blockbuster of the year with his upcoming film Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The actor, who has been sharing glimpses of the film on social media, shared a video on occasion of commencement of advance booking of Dunki.
Dunki is a comedy-drama film that marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani, who is known for his blockbuster films like Munna Bhai series, PK, 3 Idiots and Sanju. The film also stars Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles. The film is co-written by Hirani, Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon.
Advance Booking Numbers For Dunki In National Chains
Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki saw massive response in advance booking. Advances started yesterday in selected places and full fledge by today noon. In matter of 24 hours, film crossed 50,000 tickets in national chains.

Most of the advances for shows in south markets will start tomorrow for Dunki. Rajkumar Hirani films are not typical front loaded action films so such beginning can be termed exceptional. Also full fledge advances will start by tonight or tomorrow noon as shows are getting added with every passing hours.
Salaar Advance Started In North Today Noon
Advance booking of Prabhas‘ Salaar started in north India today. Film is scoring very good numbers in overseas and south as expected but advances have started on slow pace in north.

Dunki slated to release on December 21, is produced by Gauri Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films. The film is distributed by Yash Raj Films internationally.
Dunki is Shah Rukh Khan’s third release of the year, after Jawan and Pathaan, both of which were blockbuster hits. Dunki is also Rajkumar Hirani’s first film after five years, since his last film Sanju in 2018.
