Vishal Bhardwaj‘s upcoming spy-thriller ‘Khufiya’ is all set to release on October 5, 2023, exclusively on Netflix. The film stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles. The movie is inspired by real-life events and is based on a book called ‘Escape to Nowhere’, written by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan.
The film follows an R&AW operative named Krishna Mehra (played by Tabu), who is assigned a crucial mission that leaves her juggling between her dual identity as a spy and a lover. The movie promises to take viewers on a gripping journey into the mysterious world of love, betrayal and all things Khufiya.

The cast of the movie also includes Ashish Vidyarthi and Azmeri Haque Badhon. The movie is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and written by Vishal Bhardwaj and Rohan Narula.
Netflix Launches Announcement Video Of ‘Khufiya’ Ft. Tabu
Netflix recently shared an announcement video featuring Tabu and revealing the release date.
Announcing the same, Tabu shared a riveting teaser in which she is seen asking her colleague to zoom in on the screen, as she wants to read what is written on the paper. The teaser then shows the text ‘Top Secret. Khufiya. 5th Octobber 2023,” written on it.
“Kuch raaz, raaz hi rahe to behtar hai. But not this one ,” read the caption of the post.
Tabu Starrer ‘The Crew’, Also Starring Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit To Release On Holi 2024
The dynamic producer duo, Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor reveal the long-awaited release date for their upcoming most anticipated film, The Crew for March 22, 2024 on occasion of Holi festival.
Ever since the announcement of the film, fans have been super excited to watch an all-female cast leading the project. Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu lead the project. This also marks the collaboration between Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, following their successful film, Veere Di Wedding.
The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma. The Crew is one of the most ambitious projects of Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. It was shot in Mumbai and Abu Dhabi. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, The Crew is set to be a major release for Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Films Communication Network, scheduled for March 22, 2024.
