- Jogi
Directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar, Jogi movie released on September 16 on Netflix starring Diljit Dosanjh, Amyra Dastur, Zeeshan Ayyub, Hiten Tejwani, Neelu Kohli, Kumud Mishra. The drama and history thriller is directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar. Julius Packiam, Sameer Uddin have worked on its music. It shows the story about anti-sikh riots and how Jogi (Diljit) helps community members flee Delhi amid increasing tensions in the city. He sacrifices his hair to hide identity. It’s an emotional and heartwarming movie to watch this weekend.
- Goodnight Mommy
Directed by Matt Sobel, Goodnight Mommy stars Naomi Watts, Cameron Crovetti, and Nicholas Crovetti in the key roles. This movie is said to be a remake of the Australian movie of the same name helmed by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala. Two identical twins discover their mother’s face wrapped in bandages when they come back home from playing. While she tells them that she had undergone facial surgery, the twins understand that the woman under the bandages is not their mom. How they unfold the truth makes the rest of the plot. It streams on Amazon Prime Video.
- College Romance Season 3
It’s a web series directed by Parijat Joshi starring Shreya Mehta, Apoorva Arora, Gagan Arora, Keshav Sadhna, and Manjot Singh as Naira, Deepika, Bagga, Karan and Trippy, respectively, who are five college friends who love to live their life to the fullest. From fun and love to anger and unsuccessful relationships, they stand together and united. The five discover new relationships that see the strength of their close bond. The first season came in 2018 and second in 2021.
