Director Anees Bazmee has taken secrecy to a new level. He revealed that he shot two different climaxes for the film and kept the cast completely in the dark about which one would make it to the final cut.
“People will be shocked, they’ll be like ‘oh my god!’ We have tried to make a good and beautiful film. To ensure that, we shot two climaxes, and even the production members don’t know which ending I’m going to use,” Bazmee shared in an interview with IndiaTV.
In this new chapter, Kartik Aaryan reprises his role as Rooh Baba, alongside Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav, and more. Bazmee explained that the cast has only seen the film up to the pre-climax.
“Only myself and three other team members know the actual ending. We shot two climaxes, and the team wasn’t even aware of why. Initially, we shot the final climax, but later I called the team again and said, ‘Mazza nahi aa raha hai, firse karenge’ (It’s not fun, let’s do it again). The team thought it was necessary, but in reality, it was just to keep the ending a secret from them,” he added.
Here’s Why The Director Intended To Keep The Ending Secret
This approach creates an air of mystery not just for the audience but also for the actors themselves. Imagine their surprise when they watch the film and discover how it ends, just like everyone else.
Bazmee confirmed that he intends to keep this secret until the film’s release. “I want them to experience it with the audience,” he stated.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to hit theatres on November 1, clashing with Singham Again. The Diwali window is known for being lucrative, making it an exciting time for both films.
