Abhishek Dudhaiya directorial Bhuj: The Pride Of India has been announced some time ago. Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk among others are going to be seen in the movie.
Rana Daggubati was also announced as one of the actors of the movie. But recently there have been news that’s surrounding all over is that Rana Daggubati dropped out of the movie.
The Baahubali actor was supposed to play the character of Madras Regiment Lieutenant Colonel. But due to critical health issues, the actor is said to not be a part of the movie. If reports are to be believed, the makers of Bhuj also offered the actor a body double but things doesn’t seem to have worked out.
However there are also speculations that the actor is not a part of the film because of date issues.
Rana Daggubati is recently busy working on his Telugu film Hiranyakashyapa which is at the pre-production stage. The film directed by Gunasekar is said to be the costliest Telugu film ever made, surpassing the budget of Baahubali as well. The actor also has another film titled Virata Parvam 1992. The romantic action film will see Rana playing a cop while Sai Pallavi will be seen as a Naxalite in love with the cop.
A few time ago, Parineeti Chopra too had dropped out of the film. She was then replaced by Nora Fatehi. Bhuj: The Pride Of India is slated to release on Independence Day 2020.
