Will Laal Singh Chaddha Win The BO Battle against RakshaBandhan Due To Support From South?

Now all eyes are fixed on August 11.

Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar will clash at the box office on August 11. However, even before the clash of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in theatres, a war has broken out between the two films on social media. Some users are standing in support of both the films, while some are demanding to boycott their films due to the statements of Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan.

Now all eyes are fixed on August 11.

South films are doing better than Bollywood films in the Hindi belt since the Corona pandemic. Perhaps this is the reason why Aamir Khan organized a special screening of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ for South stalwarts like Chiranjeevi, SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna. Not only this, the actor also worked on the reviews received from South actors and tried to improve the film. At the same time, Akshay Kumar did not do any such experiment with ‘Raksha Bandhan’.

Users on social media have been demanding boycott of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ due to old statements made by Aamir Khan, meeting Turkish First Lady Emin Erdogan during the shooting of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and some scenes from PK. People are also trolling Akshay Kumar because of the scenes from the film ‘OMG’ and the tweet made during Mahashivratri. However, the protest against ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is much less than that of Aamir-Kareena’s film.

Both the films are releasing on the holiday day. According to the reports, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has been made in a big budget of Rs 180 crore, while Akshay’s film has been made in a budget of Rs 65-70 crore. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was passed with ‘UA’ certificate by the Censor Board on 2nd August 2022. According to reports, the runtime of Aamir’s film is 164.50 minutes i.e. 2 hours 44 minutes 50 seconds. At the same time, the runtime of Akshay Kumar’s film which is passed with ‘U’ certificate is 110 minutes or 1 hour 50 minutes.

Only time will tell which one of the both films will win this Box Office race.
