Wo kabhi Rahul hai, kabhi Raj: Akhil Katyal’s poem in support of Shah Rukh Khan goes viral

Akhil Katyal recently written a poem for SRK that has gone viral on social media.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, on October 3 in the Mumbai drug bust case on the Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship. The Khan family has had a difficult time since then. Fans of the Bollywood superstar, on the other hand, have gone to great lengths to demonstrate their support for him and his son. Now, on social media, writer Akhil Katyal’s poetry about SRK is going viral, and it is the most emotional thing you will read today. It has been widely shared on Twitter by fans and celebrities. Aryan was interrogated in connection with the rave party that the NCB disrupted on Saturday night (October 2).

Shah Rukh Khan’s fans gathered outside his Mumbai house, Mannat, on October 5 and were seen holding hoardings that read, “Take care, King.” They even created a resistance DP, which became popular on Twitter. Akhil Katyal recently written a poem for SRK that has gone viral on social media. Its lines are so moving that it has been shared on social media by writers like Kanika Dhillon, Swara Bhasker and other celebrities. The poet lists Shah Rukh’s several on-screen roles and claims that “all of Hindustan exists in one Shah Rukh Khan.”

The poem read, “Wo kabhi Rahul hai, kabhi Raj Kabhi Charlie toh kabhi Max Surinder bhi wo, Harry bhi wo Devdas bhi our Veer bhi Ram, Mohan, Kabir bhi Wo Amar hai, Samar hai Rizwan, Raees, Jehangir bhi. Shayad isliye kuch logon ke halak mein fasta hai, Ki ek Shahrukh mein pura Hindustan basta hai (He is sometimes Rahul, sometimes Charlie, sometimes Max; he is also Surinder, Harry, Devdas, Veer, Ram, Mohan and Kabir. He is Amar, Rizwan as well as Raees and Jehangir. Maybe that’s why he bothers some people; all of Hindustan resides within him).”

Neeraj Ghaywan wrote the lyrics of the Dil Se title song while praising Akhil’s poem. The lyrics went, “Bandhan Hai Rishton Mein, Kaaton Ki Taarein Hain, Patthar Ke Darwaaze Deewaarein, Belein Phir Bhi Ugti Hain, Aur Guchchhe Bhi Khilte Hain, Aur Chalte Hain Afsaane, Kirdaar Bhi Milte Hain, Vo Rishtey Dil Dil Dil Thay. Love you @iamsrk! Dil se.”

Screenwriter Kanika Dhillon commented, “Yassss …how beautifully n aptly put… ek Shahrukh mein poora Hindustan basta hai! @iamsrk.” Swara dropped a heart and sparkles emoji in reaction to the poem on Twitter.

Several members of the film industry have shown their support for Shah Rukh, whose son Aryan was detained last week for his alleged involvement in a drug-related case. Aryan has yet to be granted bail in the case, and his next court appearance is on Wednesday. He is currently being held in judicial custody at Mumbai’s Arthur Road prison.
