KGF star Yash is making headlines for his upcoming projects and we can say that 2026 is expected to be his year. While all eyes are on the upcoming Eid release Sikandar, Yash has already set his sights on the next big festival slot.
His much-anticipated action thriller Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is set for a grand release on Eid 2026. With a year to go, the film’s final leg of shooting is currently happening in Mumbai.
Yash Shoots Final Leg Of Toxic
Yash and director Geetu Mohandas have entered the last stretch of Toxic’s shoot. The team recently arrived in Mumbai, kicking off their final schedule at the historic Afghan Church in Colaba.
A source close to the production revealed to mid-day that the team will shoot high-energy action scenes at the location for the next three days. Yash is the only actor required for this part, as Nayanthara and Kiara Advani have already completed their portions. The crew has obtained all necessary permissions and blocked an entire lane to ensure an uninterrupted shoot.
After wrapping up in Colaba, the production will move to Madh Island for the final few scenes. Once that’s done, Toxic will officially complete principal photography, making way for post-production.
The KGF franchise turned Yash into a national sensation, and fans expect nothing less than a spectacle. Director Geetu Mohandas is leaving no stone unturned to ensure Toxic delivers on that front. The source added, “She knows Yash’s next film has to meet global standards. She is crafting it to stand alongside international action thrillers.”
Yash’s Mega 2026 Line-Up
Yash isn’t stopping at Toxic. He’s all set to dominate 2026 with not just one, but two massive releases. After kicking off the year with Toxic on March 19, which aligns with Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi, he will return for Diwali as Ravana in Ramayana. Both films are among the most awaited projects in Indian cinema, making 2026 an unforgettable year for Yash fans.
While Yash’s rise as Rocky Bhai in KGF made history, it also set the bar impossibly high. The challenge now is to break free from that image. With Toxic being a fresh concept and Ramayana diving into mythology, Yash is stepping into uncharted territory. The inevitable comparisons to KGF will be a test, but if these films hit the mark, they will establish his place beyond the KGF universe.
