Dharma Productions has turned up the heat for Kesari Chapter 2 with two brand-new posters. After revealing character posters earlier, the latest visuals showcase Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday in fierce avatars. The film, which unravels the untold truth of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, is already making waves with its gripping imagery.
Kesari Chapter 2 Brings A Clash Of Titans & A Fierce Legal Battle
The first poster teases an intense showdown between Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan’s characters. Their face-off is set against a dark and gripping backdrop and hints at a high-stakes rivalry.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday stands firm in her vintage advocate attire with the British flag in the poster’s background.
In the second poster, Akshay Kumar commands attention in a powerful pose as C. Sankaran Nair, the man who dared to challenge the British Empire. Ananya Panday (in her advocate getup as Dilreet Singh) looks determined and ready to fight for justice.
Character Introduction Posters Were Unveiled Yesterday
As we know, Akshay Kumar steps into the role of C. Sankaran Nair, a fearless advocate who stood against British rule. His character poster came with the tagline: “One man. Against an entire empire.”
Ananya Panday’s character Dilreet Gil was described as someone “Embraced by compassion, fuelled by justice.”
However, it’s R Madhavan’s portrayal of Neville McKinley that has truly grabbed attention. The teaser describes him as “Sharp, fearless, undeniable… but playing for the other side!”
These new posters sent fans into a frenzy with excitement building for the intense battle between Akshay and Madhavan’s characters. One fan wrote, “Can’t wait to witness this epic face-off between two of the finest actors!” Another praised Madhavan and wrote, “R. Madhavan sir, you are the MASTER of versatility. This looks amazing!” Akshay Kumar’s fanbase flooded the comments with fire emojis.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Kesari Chapter 2 is inspired by real events. It follows the relentless fight for justice led by C. Sankaran Nair against the British Empire. The film is based on The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, promising a powerful historical drama.
The film is set to hit cinemas worldwide on April 18.
