Yash’s Toxic Opens With A Bang In Hindi Advances, 25,000 Tickets Sold In Under Six Hours For Wednesday Release

Yash’s Toxic has wasted no time making its presence felt. The film’s Hindi advance bookings have come out flying, with 25,000 tickets sold in national chains in under six hours, an early surge that instantly puts the spotlight back on the star’s next big-screen move and the sheer anticipation around his return.

That opening burst becomes even more striking when placed in context. Early ticket momentum is one thing, but sustaining that intensity for a mid-week arrival is a different box office test altogether. Toxic is headed for a Wednesday release, a working day slot that does not automatically hand a film an easy launch, which makes this first wave of sales all the more significant.

Hindi Advance Booking Gives Toxic A Flying Start

The early pace of sales has turned Toxic into one of the week’s sharpest trade stories. National chains moving this quickly in the first few hours is a strong signal by itself, but the bigger takeaway lies in the breadth of the demand. If the current momentum carries into the single-screen rollout, the film could be staring at a formidable day one in Hindi despite landing on a regular working Wednesday.

Film is looking at 2nd highest national chains number in advance booking only behind Dhurandhar 2 beating all other major releases.

The booking rush also lands at a time when Yash’s box office pull is under close watch after the historic success of K.G.F: Chapter 2. This opening response suggests that the curiosity around Toxic is already converting into real early-ticket action across key circuits.

A Big Screen World Built Around Yash

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic has been mounted as a stylised action drama with an expansive multilingual canvas, fronted by Yash and backed by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film’s cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Tovino Thomas, giving the project a line-up that matches its scale and ambition.

When the film’s first look was unveiled, Mohandas publicly described her leading man in emphatic terms, saying she was “immensely proud” of his performance and calling him “a rare fusion of talent and superstardom.” That direct remark has fed neatly into the campaign around Toxic, which is scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 26, 2026.

What Toxic Means In Yash’S Current Career Phase

For Yash, Toxic marks his first release since K.G.F: Chapter 2 in 2022, making it a particularly important film in his current screen journey. After a long gap between releases, this is the project carrying immediate theatrical attention, with the advance booking trend already showing how closely the market is tracking his comeback to cinemas.

The actor’s next major confirmed big-screen outing after Toxic is Ramayana: Part 1, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The epic features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Sunny Deol in key roles and is slated for release in 2026, keeping Yash in a significant big-ticket stretch on the theatrical front.
