Yash is gearing up for a grand international film with his upcoming gangster drama Toxic. Following the massive success of KGF and KGF 2, the star has teamed up with National Award-winning director Geethu Mohandas for what is set to be one of the most ambitious Indian films to date.
Toxic Is Being Made As A ‘Pan World’ Movie
A Pinkvilla report reveals that the film is being designed for a worldwide audience. According to the source mentioned in the report, Toxic is being filmed in both English and Kannada to ensure a broader reach. After production, it will be dubbed in multiple Indian and international languages. This move aims to establish it as a truly global project that resonates across cultures.
From the beginning, the makers had a vision to create a film with international appeal. Every aspect of casting and crew selection was done with this in mind. To bring this ambitious dream to life, Yash has partnered with Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions under his own banner, Monster Mind Creations.
Yash Starrer Becomes One Of India’s Most Expensive Films
Filming in two languages has significantly increased production costs. The budget has reportedly surged by nearly 40%. This makes Toxic one of the costliest films in Indian cinema.
However, the makers are fully committed to delivering a grand cinematic experience. Their goal is to showcase Indian cinema on a global platform, ensuring that every rupee spent adds value to the film’s scale and quality.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria. The production team has also brought in international talent to enhance the film’s appeal.
Hollywood action director JJ Perry (known for his work in Iron Man, Fast & Furious and the John Wick franchise) has designed and shot some of the film’s key action sequences. Alongside him, several renowned global experts have joined the project, though their names remain under wraps for now.
The buzz around Toxic is already high and the makers are in discussions with a major Hollywood studio to distribute the film internationally. If the deal goes through, Toxic could be India’s first true crossover film to break the boundaries and reach audiences far beyond traditional markets.
