Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is stepping into the digital space with his latest project ‘Aamir Khan Talkies.’ The superstar, who has been away from films since Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), has now launched his own YouTube channel.
This platform will give fans a behind the scenes glimpse of his career, filmmaking process, and creative journey.
Aamir Khan Shares Vision For His YouTube Channel
Aamir introduced his channel with a special video & shared why he wanted to create this space. He said this has been a long-time dream – a direct platform where he can connect with audiences without any filters. He also plans to share exclusive insights about the filmmaking process, giving fans a closer look at how movies come to life.
His channel won’t just focus on him. Aamir revealed that he will also bring in directors, writers, actors, and technicians who have worked with him over the years. He wants audiences to see filmmaking from their perspectives as well.
Aamir Khan Productions announced the launch on Instagram, stating that the channel will showcase raw and unfiltered cinema moments. The platform will feature never-seen-before footage, behind-the-scenes clips, and unique stories from Aamir’s films.
Fans can expect deep dives into his past projects, candid conversations, and special segments featuring industry experts.
Aamir Auditioned For Ravi Kishan’s Role In Laapataa Ladies
One of the first surprises from the channel was a special casting diary episode. The channel shared Aamir’s audition footage for the role of Sub-Inspector Shyam Manohar in Laapataa Ladies. The role eventually went to Ravi Kishan, but Aamir’s screen test clip gave fans an exciting look at his acting process.
On the film front, Aamir is gearing up for his next project Sitaare Zameen Par. Reports suggest that the teaser for the film was certified on March 24, 2025, with a runtime of 1 minute and 19 seconds.
