It was earlier speculated that the makers of Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Master have sold the direct OTT rights of their film. Not just this, the news also stated that the rights have been sold to none other than Netflix.
However, sources close to the development have something else to say. They revealed that the makers have already sold the digital rights to Amazon Prime. They also have a condition that the film will be released on the OTT platform only once it will see a theatrical release.
As per the information, the makers will be waiting till Pongal festival to see how the market conditions are and if the footfalls are good enough to release a film during these times.
Master is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film will see Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi playing the protagonist and antagonist. Apart from them, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Andrea, Shanthanu, Gauri Kishan, Alagam Perumal, Arjun Das, and Dheena in pivotal roles.
