Dhamaka Trailer Review: Kartik Aaryan starrer looks powerful & intriguing

In the film, Mrunal Thakur plays Kartik Aaryan's wife. Kartik plays a prime-time news anchor who afterwards became a radio jockey in Dhamaka.

The makers of Dhamaka starring Kartik Aaryan, has released its trailer. The film, directed by Ram Madhvani, will be released on Netflix on November 19th. Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar, and Vishwajeet Pradhan also star in the film. In the film, Mrunal Thakur will play Kartik Aaryan’s wife. Kartik plays a prime-time news anchor who afterwards became a radio jockey in Dhamaka.

Dhamaka’s teaser was released in March 2021. The trailer for the film is released today, October 19. Arjun Pathak, a prime-time news anchor who turned a radio jockey, is played by Kartik Aaryan. During his radio show, Arjun receives a call concerning a bomb attack on Mumbai’s Banda Worli Sea Link, as seen in the trailer. In exchange for the exclusive, he negotiates his terms with the news channel’s head (Amruta Subhash) and asks her to give him his prime-time anchor position. He then has a prime-time conversation with the terrorist. Arjun is also seen dealing with a private situation.

The trailer then shows Arjun struggling with his conscience as he finds himself in a difficult circumstance. He must choose between his career and his inner humanist. Arjun is having trouble remembering his lines and tells the crew to turn off the cameras. Amruta Subhash then encourages him to do his job by telling him that the show must go on. Despite claiming that he is unable to do so, Arjun returns to work and delivers his lines.

Kartik Aaryan said on October 18 that the trailer for Dhamaka would be released today (October 19), along with a new poster. The actor appears teary-eyed on the poster, with the Mumbai Sea Link on fire. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “Kal hoga #Dhamaka Trailer out tomorrow !! #ArjunPathak (sic).”

Dhamaka is a film about a news channel’s operations. Kartik Aaryan will play a prime-time news anchor in the film. The film was shot in Mumbai in a record-breaking 10 days amid the new coronavirus outbreak. The necessary measures were taken, and the whole cast and crew of the film was tested for Covid-19 and quarantined at a hotel before the shoot began.

Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and Ram Madhvani Films are producing Dhamaka (with co-producer Amita Madhvani). Last year, on the occasion of Kartik Aaryan’s birthday, on November 22, the film was announced.
