Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet is in the news ever since the film was announced. The much-anticipated film finally released in the theaters amid pandemic. However, because of this, the film faced resistance at the box office.
The film released in some parts of the international market including the US in September and China.
According to the reports, the film has the $200 million mark worldwide. If we go by the facts the sci-fi has done a total business of $29.5 million at the US box office so far. The film made a drop of 67% in the second week of its release and bagged $6.7 million from 2,810 theatres.
The overall numbers of the film are far below than expected due to the pandemic. However, thanks to the international markets for adding 177.5 million which made the worldwide total to $207 million so far. Some of the major international contributors are China, UK, Russia, South Korea and others.
Since there is no major line up in the near future it is expected that Tenet will remain in the game and it is expected to soon touch $300 million mark.
