First weekend trend of Diwali biggie ‘Housefull 4’was completely on expected lines. Film opened well on Friday,dipped little on Saturday and had bigger drop on Sunday due to Diwali puja.
Film collected 19.08 cr nett on Friday which was decent result from 3900 screens. Film added 18.81 cr nett on Saturday. Diwali puja affected the film on Sunday as it had major drop and collected 14.90 cr nett. Drop was less than expected as Mumbai and south held well.
Film has weekend collection of 52.79 cr nett, exactly what we predicted on Friday. Film will have huge Monday with biggest holiday of the year and it should cross 110 cr nett in 1st week. Though reviews are terrible, it seems this will sail through to an extent in week one.
2nd week will be uphill task as new releases plus reviews will come into the picture.
