Hollywood films are doing fantastic business lately at Indian box office. Yesterday ‘Frozen 2’ released against big Bollywood film and came out as winner.
Film was released in 1300 odd screens and it opened very well across the board. First part did 3.50 cr nett lifetime in India with very small release. Second part collected 3.35 cr nett on day one itself as it was top film yesterday in premium multiplexes beating its fancy Bollywood rival.
Film jumped big by 100% on day two and collected 7.10 cr nett. Film consolidated on Sunday with 8.65 cr nett.
Frozen 2 has weekend total of 19.10 cr nett and that’s huge considering limited release. Film added 1.85 cr nett on Monday, 1.90 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.70 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.70 cr nett on Thursday.
Film collected 26.25 cr nett in 1st week which is huge considering release size and competition. Film collected 1.50 cr nett on 2nd Friday which was drop from 1st week but then followed it two solid days. Film added 3.50 cr nett on Saturday which was jump of 150%. Film collected 4.25 cr nett on Sunday. Film added 1.20 cr nett on Monday, 1.10 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.05 cr nett on Wednesday and 95 lacs nett on Thursday.
Film has two week total of 39.80 cr nett which is huge. It might cross 45 cr nett lifetime in India.
