Shah Rukh Khan turned a year older today (November 2). The actor is all delighted to celebrate his as Shah Rukh has had a hard month in his personal life, with his son Aryan Khan being arrested by the NCB in connection with the cruise drugs bust case. SRK endured countless restless nights during a legal battle that lasted over three weeks and saw Aryan imprisoned at Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail.

1 Veer Zaara

3 Swades
Ashutosh Gowariker directed the film, Swades is one of the highly appreciated films from SRK’s kitty. Swades is inspired by the story of Aravinda Pillalamarri and Ravi Kuchimanchi the NRI couple who returned to India and developed the pedal power generator to light remote, off-the-grid village schools. SRK has acted really well after a long time, and there is a naive yet charming idealism underpinning the movie. With a fantastic human story, Swades is a cult-classic priceless film with accurate music by A R Rahman.

4 Kal Ho Na Ho
Dharma Productions one of the best films ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ is still the most solid and adequate film in the industry. SRK, Preity Zinta, and Saif Ali Khan starrer romantic comedy-drama is still close to every SRK fan’s heart. SRK as Aman again proved that he is the king of romance. Though Shah Rukh was not a lead actor in Alia Bhatt starring ‘Dear Zindagi’ but I am sure, one must have re-watched the film only for Dr. Jug’s Phylosiphical and most evoked character. Shah Rukh Khan has certainly won our hearts all over again with his charm, wit, and sensibility in ‘Dear Zindagi.’ The character’s valuable advises to Alia Bhatt’s character in the movie that we could also implement in our lives. Gauri Shinde’s directorial ‘Dear Zindagi’ is about a story of a girl Kaira (Alia Bhatt), who suffers Insomnia due to career pressure and relationship downturns, visits Dr. Jehangir, a psychologist, who uses unconventional methods to treat her. The film is really inspiring and it tells you the true meaning of life.

6 Chak De! India
Yash Raj Chopra produced sports genre film Chak De! India is a story of Kabir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan), a former hockey star, who is tainted as someone who betrayed his country. However, he later became the coach of the Indian women’s national hockey team and proved his loyalty to the nation by winning the World Cup. Not only a sports drama but Chak De! India is also an outmost patriotic film with an amazing script. Shah Rukh’s intriguing acting as Kabir Khan is phenomenal and praise-worthy. SRK’s Kabir Khan character is by far his finest and most nuanced performance till date.”Sattar minute, Sattar minute hai tumhare paas”. Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic lines from Chak De!
