Weekend Watchlist: Check Out These New OTT Releases To Binge Watch This Weekend

The advent of streaming platforms has changed the viewing habits of everyone. Now, one doesn’t need to move out of their house or wait for a week to watch their favorite film or show. Everything is available with just one click which you can enjoy in the comfort of their homes. So here is a list of some of the major OTT releases that you can binge on this weekend.

1) Made In Heaven Season Two – The much-awaited second season of Made In Heaven has finally dropped after nearly four years. This one follows the story of the posh people in Delhi through their upper-class and lavish weddings. The series is available on Amazon Prime Video.

2) Heart of Stone – Heart of Stone is a globe-trotting action thriller on the lines of James Bond and Mission Impossible. Directed by Tom Harper, the film stars Gal Gadot as International intelligence agent Rachel Stone. It is also Alia Bhatt‘s maiden Hollywood venture. The film premieres on Netflix on 11 August.

3) Commando – Created and directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Commando is a part of the action-packed namesake franchise that is transitioning from film to digital space. Unlike the previous entries that had Vidyut Jammwal in the lead, this show is headlined by Prem Parrijaa along with Adah Sharma and Tigmanshu Dhulia among othersCommando will drop in Disney plus Hotstar on 11 August.

4) The Kashmir Files Unreported – After the massive and surprising success of The Kashmir Files, Vivek Agnihotri has once again come up to tell the story of the Kashmiri pandits. But this time in a non-fiction narrative. The series delves into the incident of the exodus through various testimonies, factual representation, and re-enactments. The Kashmir Files Unreported will drop on Zee5 on 11 August.

5) Maaveeran – Maaveeran is a Tamil language superhero film written and directed by Madonne Ashwin and produced by Arun Viswa. It stars Sivakarthikeyan as a timid cartoonist who transforms into a fierce force of nature. The superhero genre is still a very untapped market in India and this film does justice to that world. Maaveeran was released theatrically last month and became a critical and commercial success. It is dropping on Amazon Prime Video on 11 August.
